Information needed
To register as a supplier, you will need the following information.
When you register as a company:
- You must be a legal representative of the company.
- VAT-No., if applicable
- Company registration No.
When you register as a self-employed individual:
- VAT-No., if applicable
1. Creating an account
To register on the Marketplace as a supplier, click on ‘Join as a Seller'.
Next, click on "Let's start".
Put your e-mail-address and click on "Next".
Fill in your personal and business information and choose a password. Make sure your password meets all the requirements. Check the box, ‘By creating an account, you agree to A4ord terms of personal data processing'. Then click "Create account".
You will receive a verification e-mail with a 6-digit code.
Copy this code and paste it on the registration page, then click ‘Confirm your email’.
2. Adding business details
Add your business details, including your official business address, by clicking on "Continue".
Here following information is needed:
1. Your full name, as it is listed in your ID.
2. VAT number
Enter VAT number if you are subject to VAT. Small companies in Germany are in some cases not subject to VAT.
The VAT identification number must be provided in the following formats: 9 digit after DE, as: DE123456789. If you are not subject to VAT, set the mark for "Not subject to VAT".
3. Business address
Please add your company address, including postal code, street name, house number, and city.
After you’ve filled in all the details, click ‘Next'.
3. Activate Subscription
You will be redirected to the page with subscription options. You need to activate a subscription to be visible to your customers.
Besides the Beta Program, which offers three months for free, there are two options to choose from: 12-months and 3-months subscriptions, both paid monthly.
Select the subscription option and click "Next".
If you chose a paid subscription plan, select a payment method: pay by card or SEPA direct debit, and click ‘Confirm purchase’.
Card payment
If you choose this option, you will be redirected to the payment interface. Enter your card details and click ‘Pay’.
SEPA direct debit
If you choose paying by SEPA direct debit, you need to sign a SEPA direct debit mandate (the authorization allowing us to collect future payments from your account at any time). To do this, enter your IBAN and click ‘I consent’.
After you proceed with the payment, your subscription will be activated!
Now your profile and services are visible for your customers!
You can cancel your subscription in your Subscription Settings.
4. Creating a location in your profile
The profile is like a small website of your business, where you can publish information about your services, business hours and photos. This is the page that your customers will see.
Here you enter the following information:
1. Location name
The name of your location can be the name of your company, or your trade name. If you have multiple locations in different cities, it is recommended to enter the city of the location at the end of the name.
If you have multiple locations within one city, it is recommended to enter the location's zip code at the end of the site name.
2. Location description
Describe what services you offer, what makes you different, what is special about you.
3. Logo
Here you can add your logo. The logo must have a square or round shape.
4. Experience
How many years of experience you have providing your services?
5. Address
Please enter the business address in the following format: street name, house number, city. The postal code will be added automatically.
6. Schedule
This is the working hours of your location, you can set individual hours for each day, including the weekend. You can also choose the "Public holidays" option, if you are available on holidays as well. You can add individual holidays, like your birthday, and enter your lunch break. This time will not be available for bookings.
7. Video
Here you can enter the link to a YouTube video. Please note that YouTube Shorts cannot be added.
8. Pictures
Here you can upload up to 40 pictures up to 5 MB.
9. Certificates
Here you can upload your certificates in PDF format.
After you added all information, click on "Save changes" at the bottom of the page.
5. Adding services
You can add services after you created an account or skip this step to return to it later. Please read this article on how to add services.
5. Activate Payouts
In order to receive online payments from customers, you have to activate payouts. To set up online payouts, please follow these steps.
To set up payouts, you will need the following documents.
Self-employed individuals
- Your bank account (IBAN)
Companies
You must be a legal representative of the company and provide the following information and documents:
- Your bank account (IBAN)
- Type of organization (Non profit, private or public company)
- Commercial register extract (not older than 6 months)
- Bank statement
- Date the Bank statement was issued
Additionally, you have to provide further information about each legal representative of UBO (shareholders holding more than 25% of the shares), including the front and back of an identification document. For non-German citizens: passport and certificate of registration in Germany.
After you submit all the necessary documents, the payment provider will start a verification procedure. Normally, this takes 2-3 days.
In the meantime, you can go back to your profile and add services.
When you get verified by our payment provider, you will get an e-mail from us. Once you are verified, you will have access to Payouts Settings.
